Library Overview

The library of PSSCIVE was established in the year 1993. The air-conditioned library has a collection of 10,000 + books at present. These include books in different areas like Agriculture & Animal Husbandry, Engineering & Technology, Home Science & Hospitality Management, Health & Paramedical Science, Business & Commerce & Humanities, Science and Education & research. In addition, it has also books on fiction, literature, value education etc.The Library also subscribe newspapers and magazines. The mission of the library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge resources and providing for value added services. The library has also special collection like NCERT publication, graphical reference books and PSSCIVE special publication. The library is fully automated and it is used Integrated Library Management Software KOHA. The library also has digital content including Microfilms, DVDs, CDs and open access e resources and PSSCIVE e-resources etc. The library of PSSCIVE also organizes exhibition during seminar, conference and on special occasions for users from time to time.
