Prof. Munesh Chandra has over 20 years of experience in Computer Science & Engineering, having served in esteemed institutions across India. He has held various administrative roles for more than a decade, including Dean (Academics), Head of Department, TEQIP-III Coordinator, PG Coordinator, and EDC Cell Coordinator. Currently, he is a Professor of Computer Science and Head (ICTC and Computer Centre) at PSSCIVE, Bhopal, a constituent unit of NCERT under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Previously, he was an Associate Professor (CSE) at the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, and Associate Professor and HoD (IT) at Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh, where he also served as Dean Academics and Associate Dean UG Programs at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. He also held the position of Director (In-charge) at Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh.

Prof. Chandra has extensive teaching and administrative experience in institutions such as the National Institute of Technology, NCERT, state government institutions, and leading private organizations. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, a prominent state university in Gujarat. His diverse academic and professional background has provided him with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in engineering and management education. He is committed to developing innovative curricula, fostering research and academic excellence, and implementing strategies for institutional growth and student success.

Prof. Chandra has filed 75 patents, including 58 national and 17 international patents (in Germany, South Africa, and Australia), with 41 patents granted. He has authored 16 textbooks and published 198 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, he has edited 38 books for Springer Nature. He has successfully supervised 17 Ph.D. students and received numerous accolades, such as the Young Scientist Visiting Fellowship, Albert Einstein Research Scientist Award, Best Senior Faculty Award, Outstanding Scientist Award, Dronacharya Award, Author of the Year, and Vigyan Ratan Award from various national and international forums.

He has organized over 32 international conferences with technical sponsorship from IEEE, ACM, and Springer, and has served on organizing committees for several IEEE international conferences in India and abroad. He has delivered numerous invited lectures and plenary talks, and chaired technical sessions at national and international conferences. As a Senior Member of IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society, he has held key positions in the IEEE UP Section, IEEE Computer Society India Council, and IEEE Asia Pacific (Region). He is also a Life Member of the Computer Society of India and the International Association for Computer Science and Information Technology. Prof. Chandra has contributed to the development of several curricula in Computer Science and Engineering for both Indian and foreign universities.
