Prof. Munesh Chandra Trivedi has over 21 years of distinguished experience in Computer Science & Engineering, having served in reputed institutions across India. He has held several academic and administrative leadership positions for more than a decade, including Dean (Academics), Head of Department, TEQIP-III Coordinator, PG Coordinator, and EDC Cell Coordinator.

Currently, he is serving as Professor of Computer Science and Head (ICTC and Computer Centre) at PSSCIVE, Bhopal – an apex institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Previously, he was Associate Professor (CSE) at the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, and Associate Professor & HoD (IT) at Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh, where he also served as Dean Academics and Associate Dean UG Programs at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. He also held the position of Director (In-charge) at Rajkiya Engineering College, Azamgarh.

Prof. Trivedi is widely recognized as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert. He is the first Indian author of a published book on AI and has been instrumental in the establishment of AI Laboratories in AICTE-approved technical institutions, advancing research, innovation, and skill development in this frontier domain. He has significant exposure in designing, setting up, and guiding AI Labs and experimental frameworks that integrate machine learning, deep learning, robotics, computer vision, and IoT applications into engineering education. Through his initiatives, students gain hands-on experience with real-world AI applications, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands.

His expertise spans the latest applications of AI across industry sectors, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, natural language processing, smart manufacturing, robotics, healthcare diagnostics, fintech solutions, and education technologies. Prof. Trivedi has been actively engaged in building industry–academia linkages, showcasing how popular AI applications are reshaping the global economy, and ensuring that engineering curricula align with future skill requirements.

Prof. Trivedi has filed 90 patents, including 66 national and 19 international patents (Germany, South Africa, and Australia), with 45 patents granted. Beyond his own research, he has actively guided and mentored universities and institutions across India on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patent filing processes, and innovation strategies. His workshops, lectures, and advisory support have empowered faculty members, researchers, and students to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship.

He has authored 16 textbooks for Higher Education (including pioneering work in AI), 8 textbooks for school education on Web Developer, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and published 201 research papers in reputed international journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, he has edited 38 books for Springer Nature, successfully supervised 17 Ph.D. scholars, and received numerous prestigious accolades such as the Young Scientist Visiting Fellowship, Albert Einstein Research Scientist Award, Best Senior Faculty Award, Outstanding Scientist Award, Dronacharya Award, Author of the Year, and Vigyan Ratan Award.

Prof. Trivedi has organized over 32 international conferences with technical sponsorship from IEEE, ACM, and Springer, and has served on organizing committees of several IEEE international conferences in India and abroad. He has delivered numerous invited lectures, plenary talks, and chaired technical sessions at leading national and international conferences.

As a Senior Member of IEEE and the IEEE Computer Society, he has held key leadership positions in the IEEE UP Section, IEEE Computer Society India Council, and IEEE Asia Pacific (Region). He is also a Life Member of the Computer Society of India and the International Association for Computer Science and Information Technology. His contributions to the development of curricula in Computer Science and Engineering for both Indian and international universities reflect his strong academic and professional influence.
